Buki's Garden
Tolerance... and being accepting of differences... is what my children's book is all about.
The theme of the story really teaches kids to be more tolerant of differences and addresses the on-going problem with bullying and being bullied.
The story is about Buki (Boo-Key), a kitty that doesn't look like a kitty. She is teased and accused of looking like a Gremlin. The story takes place in Buki's garden.
All of the animals will not play with her because she is different. It is not until Buki meets the mean old rat that has been terrorizing the garden that things change.
Buki proves that being different is not bad, and sometimes just being who you are can "Save the Day".
And BTW...Buki is a real kitty!
